That map is awesome. Since E3-map is not just a map for WW1-timeframe such suggestion wouldn't be possible to follow: but is there any chance to take special care (reshape) of province of Transcontinental railways, e.g. in China it would be Manchurian railway etc. for E3 map that we are going to use in our mod?

I tried to make as many provinces as possible along Transsiberian Railway, but it was sometimes hard to find any existing town in some Siberian areas. In Manchuria I tried to make all Chinese provinces (in administrative meaning), add Inner Mongolia borders (the old pre-communist era Inner Mongolia borders) and also Manchu Transsiberian Railway part. I'll post map of Manchuria with Transsiberian Railway provinces marked soon. If you have some more suggestions, please post them here. Even if they won't be added in the next release, I have a to-do list with provinces planned to add/redraw.

Update:
- Manchuria Railway (pink - provinces, green - railway)

What do you think?

I've counted new IDs in China, Mongolia and Tannu Tuva, there will be at least 222 new provinces plus few more for minor islands.

Libya - Egypt - Sudan area province (on the left side):
I think only few pixels up or down border move is possible to keep historical Anglo-Egyptian Sudan tale/panhandle (I don't know which word is correct) look in nowadays Libya. It's similar situation to American Four Corners states border. From my a bit aesthetic point of view it's just better to draw real border and just remove problematic connections in adj_defs.csv file or in map editor.

Egypt - Sudan border:
There shouldn't be too much problem to move that border few pixels left or right as there are mostly just sand.

IMO, gameplay reasons should have a priority over aesthetics. It should always be clear at first glance if two provinces are connected or not. Anyway, I'd love to hear the opinion of other members of the team about this.

That horizontal line represents the northern border of Sara Triangle which was part of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan till 1934 when it was annexed by Italy. I would just make those crossing borders impassable as it is easiest solution and also logical as there are no roads between for example Ma'tan as-Sarra and Regenfeld (SW-NE connection) or al-Gauf and Selima (NW-SE connection). There will some more impassable province connections in that area so I think that it's almost nonsense to make visible province connection which won't be presented in game and will just spoil historical border look.
