1. Not yet. i should get it in the second half of November. I'm thinking about something like that (it's everything I plan to buy soon):

Perhaps the US provinces shouldn't be that rectilinear? I find them quite odd...

Almost all states and counties in the USA are rectangular and as there aren't too many rivers most of provinces borders are rectangular too. Also those borders are both historical and in 'American style' as they like to use ruler to draw their borders, unfortunately it's not old good Europe where borders are so pretty.
